Managed Services
We run the estate, you run the mission
HPE Managed Services take over the day-to-day running of your GreenLake, ProLiant, and Aruba estate, monitoring, patching, capacity planning, and incident response, so your team stops firefighting and starts running the mission. It is built for federal, SLED, healthcare, and enterprise IT organizations that need a control plane over a hybrid, multi-vendor environment without adding headcount, and that need a partner who can staff, document, and bill it through GPC, SAP, FAR V, or GPC. Delivered through Uniqcli as your HPE partner of record, the service runs on HPE OpsRamp Software for AIOps observability and HPE GreenLake Management Services for the operational scope: monitoring, standard remediation, incident and change management, root cause analysis, capacity and availability management, and continuous optimization, all against SLAs and reviews we agree with you up front. You choose how much you hand off. HPE's management model spans fully managed, co-managed, and self-managed options, and HPE's own materials are explicit that this can be delivered by HPE, a third-party IT service provider, or a mix, so an agency that wants to keep tier-1 in house and hand off patching and after-hours incident response can do that inside the same OpsRamp control plane that a fully outsourced shop uses. As of March 2026, HPE folded this further into HPE Complete Care Service, ITOps, which pairs a named Service Experience Manager and Technical Advisor with OpsRamp, HPE Support Center, and HPE Compute Ops Management under one agreement, and HPE's June 2026 GreenLake Intelligence updates extended the same Operations Copilot to agentic AI infrastructure, so the same managed-ops model now covers your AI factory, not just traditional compute and network.
When to choose this
Pick Managed when the workload is steady-state operations: keeping a live GreenLake, ProLiant, or Aruba environment patched, monitored, and incident-ready over a multi-year term. Pick Advisory instead when you are still designing the target architecture or planning a migration that has not been racked yet. Pick Support when you want break-fix and product-specific expertise without full operational hand-off, HPE Tech Care and Complete Care are the underlying support tiers Managed Services builds on. Managed is the layer that sits on top of both once the environment is live and needs to stay that way.
How we engage
- 1
Scope the estate and pick a model
We map your on-prem, cloud, and edge footprint, agree what stays in-house versus what we run, and choose fully managed, co-managed, or self-managed delivery for each layer.
- 2
Onboard monitoring and connect OpsRamp
We wire HPE OpsRamp into your hybrid, multi-vendor environment across its 3,000+ integrations and build service maps so alerts tie back to the services that actually depend on them.
- 3
Operate against agreed SLAs
Standard remediation, incident and change management, patching, and backup/restore run under ITIL-based processes, with a named point of contact if you're on Complete Care ITOps.
- 4
Correlate, automate, and cut noise
AI-driven event intelligence and the OpsRamp Operations Copilot correlate related alerts, suppress duplicates, and hand routine fixes to automation before they escalate.
- 5
Optimize capacity and report
Ongoing root cause analysis plus capacity, performance, and availability management, with regular reviews against the SLAs and outcomes we set at kickoff.

OpsRamp-connected monitoring baseline
Your infrastructure and applications onboarded into HPE OpsRamp with service maps, dependency mapping, and event correlation rules tuned to cut alert noise from day one.
Patch and firmware management schedule
Policy-based firmware baselines and patch windows for ProLiant and Aruba assets, automated through HPE Compute Ops Management and change-managed under the agreed SOW.
Incident and change runbooks
Documented escalation paths, severity definitions, and change management workflows aligned to ITIL practice, plus named contacts if delivered under Complete Care ITOps.
Capacity and optimization reports
Recurring reporting against SLAs covering capacity trends, performance, availability, and cost, with recommendations for the next optimization cycle.
Service levels
GreenLake Management Services (self-managed to fully managed)
The baseline operational layer: monitoring, standard remediation, incident/change management, root cause analysis, and capacity/availability management under ITIL-based processes, deliverable as self-managed, co-managed, or fully managed by HPE or a partner.
HPE Tech Care (Basic / Essential / Critical)
The support foundation under managed operations: Basic gives 9x5 with 2-hour response, Essential gives 24x7 with a 15-minute response for severity-1 incidents, Critical adds a 6-hour repair commitment and outage management response where available.
HPE Complete Care Service, ITOps
Launched March 2026: pairs Complete Care's assigned Service Experience Manager and Technical Advisor with HPE OpsRamp, HPE Support Center, and HPE Compute Ops Management in a single agreement, our highest-touch managed option.
What you can expect
Frequently asked
What does HPE Managed Services, delivered through Uniqcli, actually run for us?
It monitors, operates, and optimizes your infrastructure and applications wherever they live: on-premises, private or public cloud, or the edge. Scope follows HPE GreenLake Management Services: monitoring, standard remediation, incident and change management, backup/restore, root cause analysis, and capacity/availability management, all under an agreed Statement of Work and SLA.
Do we have to hand off everything, or can we keep some operations in-house?
You choose. HPE's management model explicitly spans fully managed, co-managed, and self-managed options, and the operational layer can be run by HPE, by us as your partner, or split by function, tier-1 monitoring in-house with after-hours incident response and patching handed to us, for example.
What is OpsRamp's role in this?
HPE OpsRamp Software is the AIOps and observability platform underneath the operations. It unifies signals from 3,000+ integrations into one console, correlates events to cut alert noise, and feeds the Operations Copilot that's being extended through 2026 and 2027 to also observe AI agent and LLM workloads, not just traditional infrastructure.
What changed with HPE Complete Care Service, ITOps in March 2026?
HPE folded OpsRamp-powered IT operations management into Complete Care, its top support tier. That means a named Service Experience Manager and Technical Advisor now sit alongside OpsRamp, HPE Support Center, and HPE Compute Ops Management in one agreement, giving you a single point of accountability for both support and managed operations.
Does this lock us into HPE-only hardware?
No. OpsRamp supports multi-vendor, multi-cloud, and edge environments across 3,000+ integrations, so managed operations can cover a mixed estate, not just HPE and Aruba gear, while your HPE assets stay under the same SLA.
How does patching and firmware management actually happen?
HPE Compute Ops Management applies policy-based firmware baselines and configuration management across your ProLiant fleet, rolling out updates on a schedule instead of a manual maintenance window, with drift detection to catch configuration changes before they become incidents.
Can this run under our GPC, SAP, FAR, or GPC contract vehicle?
Yes. We deliver managed services through Uniqcli as an authorized HPE partner under GSA MAS (application in progress) and SAP/FAR channels, with GPC accepted for smaller task orders, and TAA-compliant HPE product lines available where required.
What's the difference between Managed and just buying Tech Care support?
Tech Care is break-fix and technical guidance when something goes wrong. Managed Services is the operational layer on top: proactive monitoring, patching, capacity planning, and incident response run against SLAs we agree with you, with Tech Care or Complete Care as the support tier underneath it.
