The switches are equipped with up to four AC or DC power supplies, providing N+N feed redundancy or N+1 PSU redundancy when all power supplies are present. Two hot- swappable fan trays offer front-to-back (AFO) airflow, providing N+1 fan rotor redundancy at chassis. The QFX5700 and QFX5700E switches include an Intel Hewitt Lake 6 core to drive the control plane, which runs the Junos® OS Evolved operating system software.
